The 6" SCH40 seamless carbon steel pipe engineered to API 5L, ASTM A106 and ASTM A53 Grade B specifications is a high-performance piping solution for oil, gas, water distribution and industrial process systems. Manufactured via seamless production techniques (hot-rolled or cold-drawn depending on specification), these pipes deliver excellent roundness, uniform wall thickness and smooth internal surfaces that minimize flow resistance and erosion under high-pressure flow conditions.

Surface protection choices include hot-dip galvanizing for sacrificial corrosion resistance, and epoxy coating for a tougher, chemically resistant outer film — both options significantly extend service life in corrosive atmospheres and offshore or onshore pipeline projects. The SCH40 schedule provides a robust wall thickness (~7.11 mm for nominal 6") ensuring mechanical strength and pressure containment for medium-to-high pressure applications. Custom wall thicknesses and NDT/hydrostatic testing can be supplied for API pipeline or critical service requirements.

Quality control is central to manufacturing: each pipe batch undergoes dimensional checks, roundness and straightness inspection, hydrostatic testing, and coating adhesion tests. Mill Test Certificates (MTC 3.1/3.2), chemical and mechanical test reports and third-party inspection (SGS, BV, etc.) are available to support project procurement and regulatory compliance. Optional PMI (Positive Material Identification) and hardness tests can be arranged on request.

These seamless pipes are widely used in pipeline construction, distribution networks, refinery inlet/outlet lines, mechanical systems and structural applications where durability and leak-free performance are required. Their smooth internal bore improves fluid transport efficiency and reduces deposition risk in hydrocarbon and water services. For burial, exposed, or offshore installations, selecting galvanized or epoxy-coated finishes helps mitigate external corrosion and abrasion during service life.

Factory-direct supply ensures competitive pricing, stable lead times and flexible packaging — individual pipes bundled with steel straps, end caps and anti-rust wrapping for secure sea shipment. Our technical team supports sizing, coating selection and testing plans to align the selected pipe configuration with your project’s temperature, pressure and environmental conditions.
