PPGI color coated galvanized steel coil is a high-performance building material produced by applying an advanced organic paint coating onto a hot-dip galvanized steel substrate through continuous coil coating technology. The product combines the strength of steel, the corrosion resistance of zinc coating and the decorative appearance of durable paint layers, making it widely used in roofing sheets, wall cladding, ceiling panels, garage doors, sandwich panels and steel frame construction.
The surface is available in glossy, matte, embossing, anti-fingerprint, wrinkle finish, or custom texture to meet architectural and industrial requirements. Optional paint systems include PE, SMP, HDP and PVDF, with topcoat thickness ranging from 15–25μm and backcoat 5–10μm to ensure long-term weather resistance, UV protection and outdoor color stability. Zinc coating weight ranges from 30–275g/m², suitable for tropical, coastal or high-humidity environments.
PPGI coils are commonly processed into trapezoidal roofing sheets, corrugated panels and step-tile metal roofing through roll forming, stamping, bending and cutting. Standard thickness ranges from 0.12mm to 1.2mm, and width can be customized from 600–1250mm depending on project requirements. All coils are packed with waterproof kraft paper, edge protection, galvanized steel outer wrap and steel straps to ensure safe sea shipment.
Typical applications include residential houses, warehouses, farms, prefabricated buildings, container manufacturing, workshops, steel structure factories and commercial decoration. The material is lightweight, recyclable, maintenance-free, and easy to install, making it a cost-effective alternative to traditional concrete or clay roofing systems.
